So I was on page 3 of 12 of the latest reFX/Nexus thread, went off to feed the kids and when I came back and hit next...POOF! Gone. Doesn't exist. Never existed. Must have dreamed it.

I think the ONLY thing sillier than people starting/feeding these runaway threads is for them to DISAPPEAR and basically be CENSORED. What is UP with THAT?

Well, ok, people like me reading them for days on end and never once chiming in with my opinion (as if anyone cares)....well, that is pretty silly too.

If things get ugly, can't the mods delete the ugly post? Why the whole thread. I might have really wanted to read some of the opinions on pages 4-12 before it got "evil" or whatever on page 13, you know. And I can understand if Michael wants to move his forum that he should be able to zap the threads there, but this is the "Instruments" forum, not his forum. Can't people talk about what they want to talk about without getting censored?

Somebody explain it to me (and be real nice please so they won't zap this thread too) ?

It was great publicity for REFX, imo. Not that many people here would (probably) pay for synths anyway, there being so many great free things if you know where to look.

In case anyone missed it, I saved the best parts from the last one. It would be a shame for these great works of art to never be seen again. My apologies to the original authors for not giving them credit, as I can't remember who they were.

those all crack me up, I like the second one the best though, that really had me cracking up. The wtich hunt one is very memorable too.

Great, where they don't show up in the recent posts lists and anyone not interested in an argument will never venture. Its clearly not good enough and very inconsistent, in that this thread isn't even ostensibly about instruments yet remains here. IT IS WELL AND TRULY f**ked! I am 5 minutes away from mounting a campaign to make sure as many people as possible find out that KVR is no longer a place for the free and frank exchange of ideas and opinions relating to music but somewhere that exercises censorship, without explanation, anytime it feels like it and for no reason, good or otherwise.
You can lock threads any time you like and let comments stand but as soon as you start to remove anything for no reason a forum becomes completely useless.

I've only got 49 posts so I can't go there. I had about 60 posts 10 minutes ago. A week ago I had a lot then I only had 41.

Am I doing something wrong do you think ? Is this Homeland secutity at work on KVR ?
