i can't figure out how to search for thread authors. for example, how would i search for all threads in the music cafe that were created by, say, runagate? not all the threads runagate contributed to, just the ones he started.

Best I can do is to search for all threads you're in, then visually scan the results looking for your name in the Author column. If there's a way to do it directly I don't know how it's done. Not that I'm any kind of expert.

the problem with this method is that from the second page of hits on, the results are listed as single postings, rather than threads. so i can only scan the author column on the first page of hits.

anyone have a better way?
