I was hoping for some explanations on this basic plucked string physical model this morning and sadly didn't find it on wiki

i hope someone to have the guts to give a definition, by my side i'm not qualified i'm afraid...

What it makes me think after a short glance is that it should be modular systems, as VSTi, that let you do it from scratch

Reaktor, Tassman or others, ...anyone knows if its the case ?
