It works like any other wiki page - you create a link to the new tutorial on the tutorials page and then click the link. Because the page doesn't already exist you are asked to create it.

Hi! Regarding the 'arranging strings' tutorial, there's an error. The article says the Double Bass (Contrabass, Bass Violin..) is tuned one octave lower than the Cello (hence it "dobles its bass line"). This is wrong. The double bass is tuned E A D G. The Cello is C G D A. There's not a full octave between the cello and the bass, and the bass is the only instrument in the stringed orchestra instrument family that is tuned in fourths and not fifths. The acoustic double bass is tuned like the electric bass, one octave below the guitar's four deepest strings. There are also five string double basses, and interestingly in Europe it is assumed that the extra low string is tuned to a low B, but in the US a low C (which makes it an octave below the Cello's deepest...). This extremely low note at around 30 Hz almost can't be heard and is generally uninteresting in real use ;-) also for those arranging for canned strings.

Anyone arranging scores for strings from their keyboard & notation software should at least take note of this; only expect low E.
