Has anyone ever removed the main board in a Cry Baby 535Q? I have a dead capacitor that I want to replace, but can't figure out how to get the board out.
The problem is that the geared potentiometer is attached to a board that is attached at right angles to the main board - it would lift out if it wasn't for the two small pots for adjusting sweep range and gain.
I just can't figure out how to get the board out without breaking something. I've spent more than an hour Googling it, but can't find anything.
Remove board from Cry Baby 535Q?

Bumping this - anyone ever tried it?
If not, has anyone had experience of getting a luthier/guitar store to repair a pedal? Any idea what they might charge?

Yes, I have. A bit late for a response. You need to remove everything. Loosen the pot nut as well. It will start to come up. Please be careful! You should be able to move the Hot Potz away from the board near the stomp switch. Once it is out of that nick, it should flow out and release.
