DIY 1:1 controller for VSTi

Hi I just wondered if this is a realistic project for a non experienced (but handy) midi build.

Ideally I'd like to build a 1:1 usb midi controller for Charlatan VSTi.

It has 19 knobs, 10 sliders, and 25 toggle/switches that turn each other on/off,

What do you think the material cost for this would be?

What internal parts would I need? That's the part I'm most clueless about.
