I am a beginner at this.
I would love to learn how to build an musical instrument!
I am mostly into woodwind and keyboard and also wanting to build a musical instrument with water "sounds silly".
But wondering if you know any books or links that provide good information and you can tell me your experience on how you made an instrument or what caught your attention on building one?
But for me. I just want to spread and wide my mind more in the musical field having the knowledge "Like everyone else" wants to have. And I also want to be unique when building and have something that nobody else will never have. Sorry to sound pitty but yes. Haha.

This site is mostly aimed at users of software plugins, and some hardware synths. The DIY forum is the best place for conversations about building your own gear, but again its far more focussed on synth and electronic technology.

There are other websites out there which have that sort of thing as a focus that are probably far better resources for building acoustic instruments.

With regard to your 'water' notion, the singular resource for experimental instrument building is probably here:

There are a lot of books out there on building specific instrument types, amazon will be your friend there. 'DIY instruments' would be a good starting point to search for there.

Bart Hopkin's books might also be useful.

Here is a plethora of sites that focus on just that:

I would suggest http://barthopkin.com/books-cds/musical ... -design-2/ and http://barthopkin.com/books-cds/making- ... with-kids/, they really opened my eyes and ears.

Also Harry Partch's "Genesis of a Music".
