I had problems with the installation of the extra soundbanks on both mac and windows. On the mac (2017 iMac Mojave 10.14.6 . 24gb ram), Rhino was running ok with just the factory 2.0 soundbank. but when I installed the extra banks it said I had to register. (I had the keyfile in the folder already.) I logged in and downloaded a new keyfile multiple times. It said it was accepted, and to reboot. When I reboot rhino crashes and won't restart until I remove the keyfile.
On windows 10, I copied the patch and wavs into the respective folders, but the computer won't recognize the samples.

Well, I started RHINO in stand-alone on Windows 10, clicked on the '?' at the top which opened a panel, dropped my key-file on that and everything was hunky dory.
Maybe already solved since Jan 17 but you didn't get any replies, so who knows.
