Right now I'm working on the licencing. This is going to be a keyfile system, you buy and I send you a keyfile which unlocks the software. (This has taken a lot longer than I anticipated.)

The actual V1.0 final product is done otherwise, changelog...

1. New Overdrive Effect. This has 8x oversampling, 3 distortion curves and a tone control.
2. Updated Wavetable editor & wavetable module.
3. Bug fixes. (Help system is fixed).
4. More patches.

So I'm nearly there!

Hey Chris, what happened ?
Development just seems to have mysteriously stopped.
It's a great synth and I'm a fan of its very clean and robust quality, and was looking forward to a new updated version
but haven't heard anything for ages now.
Has it been shelved, or is it just taking a bit longer than anticipated ??

Post

Stopped indefinitely, I don't have the time to work on it. :(

Chris
A little Kickstarter so we can support your work? Or maybe releasing it Open Source?

Have you given any thought towards licensing or selling the current codebase to an established software-house or developer, say image-line or someone like that?

I know it is an attack to you, but would it be possible to you

to give a hint for the tool chain you used for the development

of sonigen?

Best wishes to you even if you don't

Klaus

Hi, no problem, it's all C++ and MS Visual Studio.

So, thanks for the information

and besides the sounds that it can create

my respect for the slim and handy and very useful design that you have done

it's still very impressive to me.

And thank you for publishing it.

Greetings Klaus

The site http://www.sonigen.com is dead...
Very sad... This was the best synth ever made...
