Crashing in Reaper

I've been using this plugin for a while and it's completely fantastic...except for one thing. Any track that uses Sonigen as a plugin (in Reaper) causes the program to crash all the time and without warning. There doesn't seem to be any pattern here; sometimes it will crash after five minutes and sometimes as soon as I open the project or anywhere in between.

Obviously I don't expect the plugin to be completely stable yet, but I'm seriously wondering why there aren't any other forum posts about this. Is it really just me? I've tried it on two computers (Windows 7 32 bit and Windows 8 64 bit) with the exact same results. I even tried running it as a dedicated process and it didn't change a thing.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Can you install this version, it has all the debug logging functions enabled. After you get a crash can you send me (or paste it here) the error log, its saved at...

My Documents/SonigenModularErrorLog.txt

Edit : Forgot to mention that V0.9.243 and v0.9.247 had a bug that could cause what you are experiencing, there's been a bug fix release since then.

Hmm that didnt have anything useful in there so I've added some more code to trap exceptions on the VST interface, and also added a hook for hardware exceptions.

Using the most current version here on Windows 7 Home and Windows 7 Ultimate with 4.53 of Reaper and not experiencing any crashes. Awesome plugin by the way. What do you anticipate the price being on launch of version 1?

Windows XP 32 bit, latest Reaper, 0.9.254 - poof crashes on first note entry into Piano Roll via mouse or via MIDI keyboard, can't reload saved project.

Edit: and makes NO sound! Previous version used to sound quite good...

Version V0.9.225 works without noticeable problems thus far.

Alright I fixed the midi note crashing...

I've added a whole bunch of more error checking code too.

Nabokov: Probably around 90GBP or 110$, something like that.

Hey sorry I never replied to this again. I haven't used Sonigen much recently, but that 0.9.255 update seems to have fixed the problem I was having; it hasn't crashed on me once when I have used it.

Just wanted to let you know :).
