So I finally bought S3 Abyss (was about time)
And so far I've gotta admit, I regret not having gotten it earlier.
Overall it's a really great quality instrument.
The only thing that bothers me is the static/DI line noize on sustains.
You can hear it clearly at the end of the video, this seems to be highly accentuated when using analog plugins and tape sims, not sure if it's on my end or if there's something wrong with the plugin itself.
But that's just a minor hiccup! I won't care much about when I'm adding guitar to this well rounded fingered bass!

One way or another, you can't deny death.

Did you adjust the DI noise volume on the Advanced page at all?ELECTRONICHAOS wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 4:48 amThe only thing that bothers me is the static/DI line noize on sustains.

Nah, I didn't... at least, don't think I have.
But it's ok, I learned how to "gate" and to find the "noize" knob and turn it the f**k down! haha!
Thanks by the way!
That started as a reply to Davie504 and ended up being 90% original work.
To this day... I'm still waiting for Davie to.... challenge me to a bass battle! lol
But he won't... 'cos he knows just how frightening the Abyss is! hahahaha.
Fake laugh, real pain -_-
