Long palm mutes?

Hello guys,
First of I wanna say I love the new product (UI, UX are great).
I used all the previous versions from S1 to S2 SRP.
I'm currently using S3 Jupiter, cause I'm looking for a post & prog metal sound.
The current problem is that I can't make palm mutes sound / ring out louder longer. Also, the sound is very noisy.
In some metal genres I wanna use slow and heavy palmmutes like I could do in S 2X.
I also remember having the same problem in S2 IBZ.
My current setup;
Release times: almost set to 0, cause there is just to much noise when you set it higher.

TACT: I already tried to turn off velocity scaling and vel > tight, switching tightness, etc ...

Sound clips
S3 Jupiter: (palm mutes don't ring out, while in midi, they are stretched)

S2: palm mutes do ring out, you can even see it in the wave forms
https://soundcloud.com/kenji-olivier/pa ... ng/s-qQSfT
Here is the (very simple) MIDI-file, velocity is set at 48 (49 is max, but doesn't make a diff):

I really hope someone can help me

Note velocity chooses one of palm mute levels. The Tightness parameter is just additional envelope setting for the mutes. If you check the Tables page in TACT for mute articulations, you will see how velocities are mapped to palm mute levels.
You're not triggering the most loose palm mute level in that MIDI file.

Thanks man, I'll check that out when I get home. I totally missed the 'tables' page tho.
I'll give an update soon

By default it should be set up properly without you needing to change anything. Just set velocity to 127 to play the longest mutes.

For palm mutes I use the velocity range 0 to 49 and sustains are from 50 to 127.
This way I don't need the key switch, or is it something else you mean?
I changed the curve for powerchord palmmutes and I managed to get them sound longer.
But I don't quite understand how it works, I couldn't find it in the online pdf manual:
https://impactsoundworks.com/docs/Shred ... Manual.pdf
Here is the velocity curve in the TACT settings page:
(I'm just talking about the powerchord mutes)
Here is a sound file of the current sound I'm getting:
https://soundcloud.com/kenji-olivier/s3 ... es/s-XYwcW
I have the feeling that the higher notes sound more loose than the lower ones. So I guess I have no idea what I'm doing
Also something off-topic: Is there a Shreddage 3 discord server? That would be great to grow a community who can help and learn from each other!

Ah you're splitting the velocity range between multiple articulations. Make sure Vel Scaling button is then enabled for the mutes, which will enable going through all the mute levels within the velocity range you have assigned to the mutes, without you needing to redo the mute level table.
TACT has its own manual, available here: https://impactsoundworks.com/docs/ISW%2 ... Manual.pdf
AFAIK there's no Discord server for S3.

Thanks man, you've helped me a lot!
About the discord server: I recently joined some music related servers, and it opened my view in a lot of ways.
Just like-minded people speaking about what they love most! I said a S3 discord server, but you could see it wider.
For example: 1 server called Impact Soundworks, with sub servers for each product.
People could then talk and help each other, showcase demo's, ask for feedback ... you get the point.
It's just an idea tho, I would certainly join and help with moderating.
Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks for your time!
