Demo Newbie: No sound on Keystation

Hi y'all. Brand new to RC. Downloaded demo for Mac and using Logic X. I used the Wiki instructions to install, may have missed a step for installing properly. Sound is coming through with mouse but no sound coming from Midi keyboard. How do I set this up properly to use with Logic?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

If you use the standalone version and send MIDI to Logic through a MIDI output port, you need to select your MIDI keyboard under the Settings / MIDI tab.

When using RC as a VST plug-in in a host, you have to set up MIDI routing in the host, to send MIDI events to RapidComposer. There is no way to set up the MIDI keyboard from within RapidComposer in this case.

Thanks for the response. Well, that was easy and obvious. I suppose my real struggle was trying to find and use RC within Logic as an AU plugin for easier workflow. I did read that you are almost finished with that AU Logic project and I look forward to using it. Now onto composing!
