Thank you. Now I know how this should be handled. To separate user scales and factory scales I should have told you to rename the Scales.rcSCAL file (downloadable earlier in this topic) to something else, e.g. ValliSoftwareScales.rcSCAL.
Any new scales that you add in RapidComposer is placed in the UserScales.rcSCAL file. That is never overwritten, just like all other .rcSCAL files in the DB folder are safe from overwriting. Scales.rcSCAL contains the factory scales, and should not be modified. At the moment it is not possible to wipe it completely, only with the "lock" trick, if you don't want to use any of factory scales.
