Can hear only one track

Hello there,

These are my first steps with RC.
After creating three tracks with piano chord pattern, bass generator and melody generator I fiddled around a bit trying to bring a bass-sound to the second track, I hear only the third track playing a piano melody. The first two tracks I can hear no longer.They are not muted!

What am I doing wrong?

Hello Audaxl,

Welcome to this forum

please make sure you did not select "MIDI: General MIDI" for the track instrument. Only soundfonts and VSTi plug-ins generate audio. "MIDI" instruments are for sending MIDI messages to external software or hardware synthesizers through a MIDI port, so you won't hear audio in RapidComposer when you select a "MIDI" instrument.

there is sound on each track now.
Is it possible, that the RC pdf differs from RC 3.61 a lot? In the pdf for example the phrases generator shows possibilities like "Generator Presets" and "Really Usefull" and others. In my RC Ionly see "Generators" and "Users".

"Generator Presets" is automatically created when you save a phrase generator.
When you save a phrase, you assign a "group" which is actually a folder where the file is saved to.
Customers get extra phrases (separate download), and everyone can download yellukhan's hundreds of beautiful and very usable phrases from the "A few custom phrases" topic on this forum.
