So I have a default part open, C F G C over 4 bars.
I change the first chord to BbM, change the scale to Bb/A# Lydian, the chord changes to Gm. Wrong, so I change the chord back to A#, (the other chords changed too) second chord changed to Edim which is the #4 chord of the lydian scale replacing the original F (4 chord in C). OK, but I want a C there. Ok since C is the diatonic II chord of a A# lydian scale. But I want C lydian not A# lydian, changed it, still ok. Next chord I want is D comes up ok (in standard out of key red.) I want this chord to use D lydian. Now the D changed to F#m, the fist chord chaned to D with D lydian scale, & the last chord which I haven't entered anything yet changed to D as well. Bottom line is I can't match a chord with a scale without havoc breaking loose. Is there a way around this?
