Hi Attila

I test in the past do such melody sequences as in the video from yellukhan but with the markov melody generator. I think the feature in markov melody generator for select a note range is miss. some melody generators are able to select note range. maybe note range can easy add in markov melody generator too ?

with luck i find such a bass demo. there are only 2 notes play and it use distortion. but there can create good melodies this way.
hear at sec 35. maybe a note range limit in markov melody generator can create such phrases too.

RapidComposer 3.9b2 is available!

Improvements:

Filling a track with phrases reworked. Hold down Shift to use ghosts, and Ctrl to activate the magnet when filling a track. Six new keyboard shortcuts added for various phrase generators.
Track is made empty before filling it with phrases
New phrase setting: 'Resize First, Then Apply Variations'

chord selector still has draw/resize bug. click and hold the bottom right of the dialog. You get a black box. Affects other dialogs as well, like the note dialog.

This is annoying because it seems to work well on my windows and macOS.
I wonder if others also see this bug.

RapidComposer 3.9b3 is available!

This update lets you import MIDI files in a complete folder structure as phrases.

Improvements:

Dropping folders to the phrase and rhythm browsers to import MIDI files as phrases/rhythm patterns works
Fixed a MIDI import issue with zero-length notes
Fixed: Chord Selector window had a black region when resized to bigger than the screen height
