Thanks & as always :tu: Attila!

This one is a collaboration with a friend of mine, Roberto Mathews. He did the keys and vocals on this. (we have worked together in the past). I actually used RC to do some analysis and as it turned out, we were playing slightly different progressions and RC was able to show me where.. hehe.. enjoy! (it's a tribute to Sam Cooke)

This is what you get from the Idea Tool if you are an expert user ;)
Of course it requires continuous generation, checking, refining, so the creative composer is you. RapidComposer just generates possible tracks but in the end the user chooses what to keep and what to regenerate...

Thanks, yellukhan!

I fully subscribe to all that Musicdevelopments said !!! Thank you Yellukhan as always for the great compositions and the ingenious ways in which you use RC. I always watch your videos with great interest, wonder at the musicality and beauty you produce and always dream of picking up just 10% of the techniques you use there that I may steal them because they are so wondrous. Thank you!

Here's my latest humble musical attempt where RapidComposer was of great value and usefulness!

And again thanks to you Yellukhan for your encouraging words.
In case you're curious about the process in this case I started it out on a family trip i was dragged into taking to Berlin so with long train rides so I started figuring out the chord progression and rhythms on my phone in Chordbot, then I took that later into RapidComposer where I changed it quite radically (i think minor to dorian or something?), then also inside RC i generated myself a couple of melodic lines, in particular some legato lines, then i made myself a lot of chording and ostinato tracks to have as options which I then took all into Cubase for my last pass picking instruments and mastering and stuff like that.

For instruments I went back to my favorites Jaeger, Albion One and with touches of Symphy Essentials for woodwinds and tremolos ... oh, and this time a starring role for the Symphonic Strings. I tried to combine it with some Spitfire Solo strings but I couldn't get it to work (tried multiple reverbs... adjusted track timings... still no big success). The most interesting element there to me was comparing the sound on the legatto between Jaeger cellos legato and Spitfire Symphonic Strings ... in the end since Jaeger is centered but Symphonic Strings is naturally right panned with natural seating I decided to have them both together (i guessed at -250 for Jaeger and -120ms delay for SSS, hope i guessed right) since i felt Jeager was a bit grittier, while SSS felt bigger and roomier so i figured this way they might complement eachother. I also tried some Magneto 2 saturation on the strings which helped in making them warmer feeling. Oh, and funny note, I used some cell harmonic squeaky sounds at some points instead of woodwinds which makes me laugh :))

(Oh, forgot to mention, the synths I used from the surprisingly rich and interesting synth section inside Palette – Symphonic Sketchpad.)

For reverb most of the time I kept jumping between Cubase's "Revelation" and the very nice free convolution reverb Oril River but then in the end ended up on a whim and after lots of testing just throwing in Black Hole Reverb. For compression I used quite a bit of my goto free compressor Klanghelm MJUCjr , a bit of the free OTT (xfer?) ... and also free from NativeInstruments "Supercharger". For limiting i used the cool but simple free LoudMax and my goto Limiter6 (free also) and at the end a bit of Ozone 8 Elements (because i'm such a unknowing noob (was also recently free :D ) ).

Geeky mode end of thoughts... hope you found them funny/interesting.

Yeayy! I do believe RC performs wonderfully in this field also! A question: how do you handle legato passages? Any advice. The legato modifier only brings the notes to right match but no overlap and some sound libraries don't treat that as legato. Do you then add another modifier to extend? By how much? Or do you do it later in a DAW?

Could you post some of your orchestal composition with RC? Do you have any advice, suggestions, tutorials? All would be appreciated!
