Thank you Yellukhan. I understand now how you imported the MIDI phrases. How did you generate all those phrases? Did you manually create each phrase? Was it an automated process?

When you told it how many bars/lines to expect on the import, how did you know that?
Also, watch the video again and when you import the phrases, it counts 139 phrases, but, the phrases only list 138 in the phrase box.. bug? or was it a count by zero issue? (we all learn to start counting from 1, but, computers can start counting from 0)
Also, just for my reference, how do you get the YouTube video to show as a thumb nail like that? I only get the http text line..

Hi,
good catch..but..
import screen counts till 137 (total 138.. but last one probably goes too fast to see/show)
last phrase (138) was only 1 beat ( you can see at 3:29) ..so i just deleted.
about youtube thumbnail, nothing special... i just copy paste the video link.
Thanks for the link!
EDIT:
how i know how many bar i need : just drag midi to Reaper
or
import RC see the bars and go import page again adjust the length and import again.

I noticed to that you have a ton of progressions. Is there a similar process for that?

no, its native Reaper function that you can load scale definition files
you can launch scale finder from
Menu / View / Scale Finder
scale definition files:
i am using this one (i modified a little)
http://stash.reaper.fm/v/8075/ZD-Ultimate.reascale
this is the lite version

open your midi in Reaper Midi Editor, launch Scale Finder, select all notes in midi editor
and press to "Use MIDI editor selected notes"
