couldn't you put or add text to the phrase name? like when the phrase becomes "rendered" or "edited", you could use "ghost" ?

Post

Yes, that is what I did. From now the name and color shading reflect that it is a ghost phrase:

awesome.. yet another example of a happy accident :)

Post

Ok, an unhappy accident. Create two tracks x bars long.. on 2nd track, add phrases. Select all phrases. Ghost copy to the track above (CTRL-Shift Drag). deselect every thing. I set my un-ghost hotkey to CTRL-U. Select all the ghost copy phrases. CTRL-U them. None of the phrases in that track can be selected, acts like it is locked.

Post

Also related to ghost phrases.. the re-rhythmise variation doesn't play well with ghost phrases. On the first die roll, the phrase disappears. (I am ghosting a rendered phrase)

Thank you, BluGenes, I'll check this shortly.

Hi, Attila.

While it doesn't seem to impact the program's operation, but I'm getting a exception error every time I quit the application. The crash report says

Application Specific Information:
Pure virtual function called!
abort() called

Hi Mark,
will you send me the crash dump in e-mail please?
This is the first such bug reported, and I am wondering what happened.
For some reason it works well on my MBP.
Thanks,
Attila

Chord Selector: RC crashes when I try to change from Roman Numeral to Note Names.
-------------
Settings: C major, Show Chord Names (not Universal Notation)

> Chord Selector

> For Chord Progression

> Problem: Universal Notation is active, Note Names are not choosable

> RC says: "Click to insert chord"

> After inserting 1 chord, it ist shown as Roman Numeral

> Now, when i click on the "C,D,E..." Button, the program chrashes.

RC 7.8.1 MacOS 10.11.6

the problem occurs only if only one chord is entered. From two or more chords in the line it is possible to switch from universal notation to note names without crashing.
Anyway: With the basic setting "note names" the universal notation should not be the default setting when the window is opened.
