Would like to have option for Export Midi File - Export w/o Instrument setting
Save having to change for editing versus move to DAW (some back and forth during dev)

Apply Rhythm "Variation" ability to use rhythms from "Rhythm Patters" section automatically?

any Generator that has no Rhythm section & regular phrases..

Hi there it's me again

we have Expression for the Track based use for scale the Velocities
but i believe a Variation something like "Velocity Scaler" would really helpful to use Phrase based

EDIT:
and one for the batch midi import
an option to import as Scale Based "Scale Notes [+ semitones]"
would useful imho.

i just saw the "Restore To Absolute Notes" with the Phrases that imported lately
if i am not mistaken it seems
after some point Phrases was start to keep the original imported midi as Absolute form inside
to return anytime we need!


EDIT2:
ability to drag multiple phrases from Phrase Browser to Rhythm Browser
plus allow enter the Group name & rename them automatically -auto number increase- as like saving multiple phrases..
not a must have but i believe it would really time saver.

AI will arrive in RapidComposer, maybe not for v4.0 because I have so many plans.
Melody Mixer is basically the same as Phrase Morphing in RapidComposer. I don't think too many users use it...

but what i realized a few hours ago a little buzz killer to me
when i turn on the separate window for Browsers, RC looses play stop keyboard focus
if one of the browser is active..
is there is a settings that i am missing? if not i would you like to know how you guys handle this?
(PS:still didn't sleep yet )

when i turn on the separate window for Browsers, RC looses play stop keyboard focus
if one of the browser is active..

naw, that is how it works.. I have that setting always off. I like to keep the windows in the RC editor's focus, meaning the transport is in focus as well. With that setting on, as you know, the windows are no longer part of that "session" for windows.. (session meaning the area in memory that RC is running in) There are pro's and con's for doing this too. When the browsers are in the scope of RC, play back may appear to skip, sometimes. This is just RC getting interrupted and waits to update the UI. You can fix this by turning that option on. (but lose the keyboard focus for the transport)

After Vacation surprise
Remove Note Variation..
currently (so far i tried) works phrase based and no matter the phrase positions it repeats the result on every phrase....
(Rest Variation also seems works like this)
...
i think when the Remove Note Variation used as a track variation
if there is an option that allows to work-affect Line/Region based would really great!
even maybe with a length selector 4 bars 8 bars 16 bars etc.
by this way in the Idea Tool we can create random fills (melodic & drum-percussion) easily at the exact position we want..

or just a new Variation?

when the first time i imagine this i was thinking for Absolute drum phrases to extract/pass through selected notes
scenario: Idea Tool (again)
create for example 3 tracks fill with drum phrases add imaginary Extract Notes variation to tracks
and set different notes in every tracks
1-allow only snares
2-allow only hihats
3-allow only percussion etc.
create new rhythm combinations on the fly

then...
while i record my latest video (One Time Job part2)

more ideas popped up "what if also covers the
Bass, Root, 3th, 5th notes? .. extract them and combine with the same way in the Idea Tool?!"
