Hello all,

After more than 30 free Cubasis updates, we are very pleased to announce the immediate availability of Cubasis 3!

Needless to say we are very proud of the great little Cubasis team, who worked 24/7 for quite some time, fully rewriting Cubasis 3 from scratch, rethinking the app to make it look and perform perfectly on the brand-new iPhone version and so much more.

You can download Cubasis 3 on the App Store

Cubasis 3 is by far the biggest Cubasis version we've ever released, adding iPhone support and more than twenty user-requested features and improvements.

If you’re satisfied with Cubasis 3 please support us by rating the app in the App Store!

Thank you,
GN

Cubasis 3 can be purchased as download through the App Store and is not available for free to existing customers of previous versions of Cubasis, priced at 49.99$/54.99€.

Cubasis 2 and its corresponding in-app purchases remain available in the App Store. The price for Cubasis 2 will be reduced to 23.99$/26.99€.

In addition, the price for the Full Feature Set In-App Purchase, included in Cubasis LE 2 will also be reduced to 14.99$/16.99€.

This is very exciting. I've waited a long time for Cubasis to come to the iPhone. I've already purchased and started exploring. Thank you! :)

Sad that you have decided not to offer an upgrade option to Cubasis 2 customers. I have to pay again plus for in-app

Apparently in-app purchases are able to be transferred

How long does it normally take to pop up in the Australian App store?

I’m seeing it already. But I had to find cubasis 2, click on the publish (Steinberg) and it showed up in their list of apps. It wasn’t in search. AUD$80

My in-app purchases did not transfer/restore between versions. Perhaps I did something wrong?

I think there’s some kind of process you start in version 2 and finish in version 3. But I don’t have 3 to test it with

Isn’t your $|€ ratings upside down?
And more: as a German company, you should defend Europeans, in the same way as the US company prices are lower for the Americans vs. Europeans.

Regarding IAP transfer,
It was pointed out on the Audiobus forum by a Steinberg rep that Cubasis IAP transfer only work on the same app type .i.e. Cubasis 2-> Cubasis 3, Cubasis 2 LE -> Cubasis 3 LE (not yet released). In my case I upgraded to full 2 functionality through IAP in 2 LE. This was possibly a dumb move on my part simply to save few dollars!

Thanks, it's iOS 13 only so that is the problem I have. :(

i prob won't bother either... the few updates is NOT worth $60 for those that already own v2 and i am certainly NOT interested in using it on a phone

a small upgrade price may have been more feasible... but not full price again FFS

Same for me. Am a bit dissatisfied that it's a new app now.
