The live feed just ended.

Magnus Berger showcased a tech-demo of Reason running inside the Chrome browser on his Mac laptop. He said the developers transpiled the Lua and C++ code of Reason into JavaScript and WebAssembly.

He loaded Europa and played a few patches.

Then he opened Korg PolySix and used Reason's dual arpeggiator player to show an example of a 3rd party rack extension already working in this tech demo.

He then finished by saying this all runs on Chrome and can also run on Android... And then he left the stage.

I'm a bit worried that Reason which was earlier as fast paced as bureaucracy, when bringing in new features etc, has become to a pregnant woman with mood swings..

Props have a very measured approach but the software remains very reliable and stable. Far rather that than what Cakewalk did & died with. To me, this is a tool of my trade, not a set of novelties so I don't want loads of flashy doohickies that have no solid practical value. Generally, Props keep to that mindset within Reason - we won't talk about Alihoopa and those iOS Apps
