Hi KVR, haven’t been around in a loooooong time. Life takes us where it will, for me it’s been iOS as of late. Mostly because I’ve been waiting for NS2 and when it dropped, it was a breath of fresh air.
Here’s a tune I did 100% in NS2 with only factory and IAP patches, no samples. Just Obsidian and Slate. IMHO, NS2 is more than capable even without audio tracks, at least for my style of music.

A a small celebration of Nanostudio 2 iPhone version release i made this mini demo, i started right when iPhone version was dropped in appstore and ended after 3 hours
All sounds are synthetized in Obsidian (including kick/hihat/clapsnare), no external FX/synths used, everything just plain Nanostudio on iPhone 6S

glad to see NS2 finally made it. NS1 was one of the better iOS DAWs. Looks like it released last week.

Yes, NS1 was my start into music making in general. It worked fine to make full tracks on a small 3.5" screen years agotelecode wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 7:23 pm glad to see NS2 finally made it. NS1 was one of the better iOS DAWs. Looks like it released last week.

I really like NS2 and especially the Obsidian synth. Another tool i would pay a lot more for if i could get it for mac (NS1 was/is available even for free on mac/windows).
