Hi,

I am looking for an IPAD for this thanksgiving. I will be using Cubasis . Which one would you guys suggest. The latest IPAD pro with A12X bionic chip or A10 processor.
From their website, it says A12x is 3 times faster than A8 and A10 is 2 times faster.
But IPad Pro with A12x chip is $600 more.
Is it worth that money ? Or will normal IPad with A10 suffice?

I might use few other programs on it as well like GeoShred and Lemur.

The Pro will last you 8+ years or more with blazing performance. For music production, a Pro is recommended and you will get many more returns than what you spend on it extra.

A regular iPad will last 5+ years with mediocre performance as it gets older.

iPad Pro is the worst possible suggestion, it is over priced and as of right now doesn't even work properly, the 2017 is a great starting point.

Agree. But one of the suggestions here that you can work with an Ipad Pro for 8 years is comical.

The latest iPad Pro is kicking ass here with Cubasis, AUM, Audiobus running concurrently - hosting AUv3, IAA plugins.
