A new iOS app called GetProg. This app allows you to play chord progressions with just one finger. A great tool for creating musical ideas on the fly.

I have 5 codes for FREE download. Please, send me a private message.

Download the app here: https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZS ... 76196&mt=8

Beatmaker 3 is free during the Namm Show!

Thanks for pointing out Beatmaker 3 is free. This saves me curiosity money. Because wow; Beatmaker 3 is a perfect example of how the flat design fad results in awful GUIs. I had considered buying it to try it out. Now I don't need to spend money to do that.

I never really get a sense of what it's like to use things via videos, especially with flat GUIs. Hands-on is all that really works for me. Sometimes something flat and simplistic-looking turns out to be very effective in practice (Fugue Machine, for example). Beatmaker, however, just feels like a bunch of poorly thought-out panels and modes I can't keep track of. It feels kind of like a puzzle box. The more time I spend with it, the less I want to solve it.

It took a few sessions to get used to, because it's different from other DAWs and BM2, but now it's like second nature.
Beatmaker 3 is hands down the best iOS DAW for me, considering features and workflow.
