Which gear could I look for an 'upgrade'?

Hello. I have fireface UFX, and Barefoot micromain26, and that's it really. I want to see/know if I can have any sort of an upgrade for better monitoring sounds. I don't do any type of audio recordings; everything is done within the DAW.. VSTs to plugins. I've heard DA converters could be a good investment, but some say that that should be the last thing to be improved on.. So I'm kinda confused now. Any recommendations please?

So you're sorted!
A RME FireFace is good enough I guess. No room for improvements there.
Maybe you benefit from some cheap monitors for reference how it sounds on a modest, less ideal setup.
