I know, people these days don’t burn CDs anymore, but we want to make a Christmas album as a present for friends and family and that’d be nicer in CD format with a little booklet instead of just a USB stick.
I’ve tried Windows Media Player and a few free ones, but they’re not what I’m looking for, because you cannot add proper track indexing and cd text.

As a Cubase user, I wonder whether Wavelab Elements is a good choice? It’s 30% off right now. I tried the demo and it is quite nice, although I think it’s more meant for mastering, rather than CD burning, so I’d kill two birds with one (mastering) stone. Or is something like Roxio Ceator or Nero ROM better?

Wavelab Elements will be fine, or grab something free like CDBurnerXP https://www.cdburnerxp.se/

Thanks for the links. Unfortunately DCBurnerXP and Imgburn tried to install adware with their downloaders. So I'll look around some more.

Click on "More download options" here, and choose the "Default installer (Without installCore)" which doesn't have the adware in the installer: https://www.cdburnerxp.se/en/download Apart from that, i think you can deactivate the additional software installation anyway, or not?

My Antivirus is very stern with me :) , i.e in your link it warns me about something called Win32/Fusioncore and cuts the connection to the site.
Nevermind, somebody here sold me his Wavelab for a good price, so I'm all set.

Burnaware is what I use. So far the discs have held up.

I stopped using cdburnerxp when i noticed it had dependencies, like dot net or c## that wont install here,,,,,,
