I'm looking to build a new system, with a ryzen 2700 probably and 16Go of ram
Is there a manufacturer or a precise model that would be better suited for audio production?

I went Asus B450 Plus on my Ryzen 7 build and the computer is sublime running Cubase 10 Pro. Not the highest end motherboard but most are geared towards gaming. This does everything needed ad very stable.

Users shouldn't install live update anyway, it's a DPC nightmare. The less real-time updaters you're running on a system the better resource wise, SDI Origin once a month is a far better choice for keeping your system up to date.Steve Bolivar wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 12:42 am I imagine with the ShadowHammer news there will be some big sales on ASUS products soon.
That aside, Shadowhammer only affects laptops and not desktop mainboards.
