Against my better judgement, I'm in the process of building a new pc and am uncertain as to which video card would be best as well as a decent monitor. Here's what I have purchased thus far:
CPU: i core 9-9900k
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64
Motherboard: Gigabyte z390 Aorus Master
RAM: G Skill Trident Z DDR4 4x16GB
Storage: 2X Crucial MX500 2TB SSD, Samsung EVO 850 Pro 1TB, Glyph Studio 3000 3TB HD 7200
Case: be quiet Dark Base Pro Rev2 Comes with fans but may need to add more or liquid cooler
PSU: Corsair HX850 Platinum
DAW: Cubase 10 Pro
Was going to get an MSI AMD Radeon RX580 Armor but may want to upgrade for a 4k monitor. I'm only using this as a music recording computer but I use a some large orchestral libraries the likes of OT Berlin Woodwinds & Percussion/ Spitfire Studio Strings Pro, etc. as well NI Komplete Ultimate and recording vocals & guitars live. Maybe sell my girlfriend's kidney?
Is there any particular AMD Radeon video card that works well with a 4k monitor 28" - 32" and won't force me to sell my girlfriend's kidney? Thanks for any help and insight as this is my first build and I'm sure it will advance my already decaying body.

For 4K 60Hz you can go fine with any Radeon RX 5xx series, but this
RX 570 got an excellent price, made with quality parts and have lots of ports...

For a 4K monitor, select one with IPS/VA panel and *NOT* TN panel.

You Sir are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for your input. I have been using your posts from various threads to steer my pc build on pcpartpicker.com. I ended up with the MSI Radeon RX580 and AOC AGON AG322QCX 31.5" Curved Gaming Monitor. I'm not using it for gaming (the last video game I played was Pong at a bar in 1973) so I should be ok if the planets are aligned. Again, thanks for being so generous with your knowledge and time. It's a huge help to relics like myself.

Yeah, that's about what i would spend max for a graphics card (150-200 €), if i wanted to build a sole audio PC setup. Actually, i'm not sure if even cheaper cards won't display 4k well. You really only need a powerful one if you are gaming.
That i9 will kick ass though.
