Hi:

I'd like to know what do you think of Aorus Master as a MoBo, instead of the Taichi.

I like, it is an EXCELLENT top motherboard with better VRM than the
ASRock/ASUS, but 2 considerations:

-I am not 100% sure, but looks like this model has a bigger incidence
of coil whine, some have(even with tweaks) and some does not have.
As an alternative you can go for the Gigabyte Z390 Ultra or Designare.

-It uses add-on card with the new Titan Ridge Thunderbolt chipset that
is know to not like Thunderbolt audio interfaces version 1, no problem for V2/V3.
See http://forum.gigabyte.us/thread/6193/th ... are?page=9
Some people mention that was able to make Titan Ridge to work with TB 1.

You'll be needin' some fireproof blocks lad.

Have you purchased a site yet to situate your pc?
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Are you meaning the Xtreme version? Because that's the one that comes with Thunderbolt built-in (but it is VERY expensive). The others don't have Thunderbolt, AFAIK.

I mean this one: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z3 ... -rev-10#kf

Is the Xtreme safe on this aspect?

All Gigabyte Z390 uses the Titan Ridge Thunderbolt chipset.
The Designare and XTREME have built-in Thunderbolt, the Master/Ultra/Pro/etc
you can add a card https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GC ... -rev-10#kf

I do not know, probably yes because the VRM is different.
But keep in mind that *ANY* motherboard can have coil whine.
The Xtreme is expensive, but the Z390 Designare is not.

I got the Gigabyte Z390 Master with an i9.
So far ok.
Why? Did a lot of research and slowly that turned my brain into mush.
Meanwhile I saw the Master on sale and got it.

Had some issue with DPC latency.
Followed one or two of Pictus' advice and now ok.
Have yet to stress this PC so cannot really say how good it is.
Pictues has been a lot of help.
