Starting my search for a new Windows desktop

Hi guys,
I have a W7 and I'm planning to get a new one instead of upgrading the OS and putting up with unforeseen bugs... also, I've maxed the RAM that I can put on it at 8 GB.
So, I have a few questions. The first one is where are the best deals?
I'm thinking about getting a desktop computer with W10 Pro, at least 16 GB in RAM (possibly 24 or even 32), preferably with 500 GB SSD drive (I have a fairly new 2 TB HDD drive that I would transfer). About the processor, I have no effing idea. Man, in my times, comparing processors was easy, now they have so many specs that it makes me feel hopelessly lost. I don't think CPU is a big consideration, though, I'm doing fine with an Intel i3 at 3.3 GHz. My computer is very old, so I doubt I would find a computer nowadays with the specs I'm mentioning and a processor less capable than what I have.
Here's the thing, I'm trying to limit my budget to $900 ish, what do you guys think? Is that possible?

I think you can get yourself a nice machine for $900. I've been very happy with my Intel i7 (10 core), they've come down in price.

You can get a good pc with that money. But I'd head to a local pc store and ask them to build yourself a pc. Just tell them what you approximately want and that it's coming to studio.

The GIGABYTE Z390 Designare has Thunderbolt 3 built-in.
