Hi
Find MB's with various socket types. Seems that MB with 2066 are much more expensive what I could see, or it's just chips with that socket that is.
What is future proof and increase flexibility?
Any change is technology overall for 2066, or?
Thank you.
Best cpu socket - 2066 or LGA1151 - and what is difference really?

2066 is the Intel "HEDT" (High End Desktop) or "Enthusiast" range. The division of the range is a bit of a mess right now, as other ranges further down have succeeded it to some degree as x299 is well over a year old at this point.
I'm expecting it in the future to support the higher core count chips, whereas the mid-range tops out at 8 cores, the i9 HEDT solutions are likely to be mostly found on whatever they call the replacement platform when it arrives.
