Elecktroid - Set to Trigger Via MIDI But STILL Plays 1 Bar Without Being Triggered

Hi, I've been pondering this issue for a while. As soon as I engage transport in a DAW (Mainstage, LiveProfessor, whatever), even though Elecktroid is set to only trigger via MIDI note, it will instantly burst into life and play a single bar. After that it behaves as expected. Any ideas as to the cause?

Aside from that - best drum sequencer to be found in this price range. LOVE the probability function and the import of samples, the number of patterns, the LFO interaction, the sequenced tuning, the mix of sample and synth, the easily understood GUI. If a drum sequencer doesn't have a probability function on my planet it isn't worth a nickel.

(Really wish it had MIDI out though .)
