Are there any plans for a Windows version of Drum or Minispillage?

Hi robgxmn, currently there are no definite plans for a Windows port but every time someone asks the question it becomes more of a possibility at least. Unlikely to happen before a 2.0 release though.

That's bad luck. If you know anybody who can help with a Windows port (or if you are somebody) get in touch!

Thanks for the push ;)

Well, I have nothing against a Windows port personally but it would require a lot of work. We'd need to port all the GUI code (which is currently 100% Cocoa) to something Windows compatible. JUCE seems to be a popular choice for writing cross platform plugins but we'll have to wait and see if this is feasible I'm afraid.

iOS on the other hand loves all that Cocoa code.... :)

I would definitely buy both of them if there was a Windows port. I have a Macbook Pro (for the road), but my studio is Windows based and thus most of my synth design is going on there.

Congratulations on Elecktroid,

I would also like to see your products on Windows!

Featurewise + the way the user-interfaces are designed, they seem to be very sophisticated.

Thanks for all the Windows love! Obviously there is some demand here. I also think the kind of products we make are well suited to Windows users (probably a sweeping generalisation but perhaps true).

By the way, not meaning to tease but I'm told our software works well on Hackintosh systems ;)
