I've recently put online a track I did with VAZ Modular a few years ago:

As the page says, all VAZ modular from start to finish, nothing else used at all.

Late evening improvisation. All sounds are Vaz Modular, together with the wonderful Valhalla Room reverb.

I use VAZ ever so often for the fun of it. Some of those sessions ends up as parts in my tunes, though more seldom as entire tracks. But I have a few tracks featuring the VAZ Modular 3 in a prominent position.

Just finished this ambient drone track using VAZ Modular.
It's a piece for a live theater performance. I started it a few months ago, recently the performer asked if I could make it less "windy" and more "watery."
Thankfully I knew what he meant and VAZ helped me oblige!
Further processed in AudioMulch and Reason.

Oh, this is nice! It's probably even better with the performance, but there's only some brief moments where I felt it dragged on a bit before there was something to rekindle and sustain my interest. (sorry, I know one is supposed to go all "OMG, it's so amazing!!" - apologies for being honest... ) I'd be interested if you post a little bit about how you worked with this, anything from a more concrete description of excactly what you did to make it more "watery" to which modules you used. Was it mainly something in the sounds, or more in the way the sounds "move" that made it more "watery" or what? If you don't mind posting a screencap or two of Vaz Modular being used for this I'd be happy to see that, but I'd offcourse understand if you for some reason wouldn't want to or can't.Winstontaneous wrote:Just finished this ambient drone track using VAZ Modular.

Vaz Modular recorded into Propellerhead Reason from a laptop. Wonderful vintage sound!

Wow, really nice Kiru! Cinematic experience and the ending is grand!
Here is mine, I made it couple years ago using only Vaz Plus standalone for all sounds except snare, sequenced in Renoise. Quite a lot of delays/distortion fx though:
