Cubase 5.5 crash after Propellerhead installation!

Hi!

I was running VAZ Modular nice and smooth in Cubase 5.5, until I installed Propellerhead Record/Reason. Now I get a complete Cubase crash as soon as I try to open the VAZ modular window. (even when I don't run Propellerhead at the same time)

After the crash it seems that the ASIO doesn't work in Cubase, Record or in VAZ standalone.

Could this be an ASIO issue?

Ouch! I'm suspecting some kind of 'dll hell' issue I.e. The propheads install updating a system dll? Only standalone vaz has a dependency on ASIO. Try setting the plugin editor embed mode to never?

Has this something to do with my old windows? I haven't tried the beta 15 yet, because I thought it's just for Windows 7?

I'll soon have Windows 7 and a new computer.


Anyone else facing those problems?
