I'm having issue with Freq Echo crashing Ableton quite frequently... seems to happen randomly, when the GUI is open and I'm actively playing around with parameters.

By any chance do you have a monitor operating at a refresh rate of >60 hz? There's a known issue in Ableton 10.0.2 which let's the GUI freeze. Workaround is minimizing after inserting a new plugin.
