question about audio routing

First we have a send effect module , which lets you choose the send track and post or pre fader + send amount
The we have the dropdown menu at the bottom of each track and a destination track , this seems to be always post fader
Then we have the dropdown at the top of a track to select an incoming source , this seems to be pre fader ( for the source ) , and only one track/source can be choosen
Is there a reason why this last option doesn't have a gain control ?

The audio input routings don't take output from a track, they take output from a plug-in. This allows you to bus audio from, say, the first plug-in in a track of three plug-ins. There is no reason, however, that I couldn't add the track pre- and post- audio mixer points to these input choices, so I will look into it.

Yes, I agree, that really needs to be done. I'll add it to the features list.
