greets,

i'm just posting this in case this might be helpful.
because it took me awhile to figure it out. :clown:

in the image, each mono step sequencer is set to a different channel.
and the multi-timbral synth is on track one.

i just purchased Architect this morning.
very glad i did because the potential of Architect is enormous.

i'm probably gonna be doing all my compositions in Architect from now on and use Reaper for mixing.
anybody want to buy i slightly used copy of Cubase 10.5? :hihi:

Thanks moonmadness, that's handy to know. Another approach would be to use a [set channel] module.
Architect, the modular MIDI toolkit, beta now available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

You can override or add any midi channel by sending an arrayto the 'set channel module ' , imho it's much faster then just assigning the midi channel in the step sequencer and much more flexible , especially for live use

Works fantastic

tnx a lot mate! :)

i tried for a few hours yesterday using the Set Channel module but with not success.
i was almost to the point of asking for a Search and Rescue team, you came just in time! lol :hihi:
i'll give it a try today.
i'm still reading the PDF to get up to speed.

to set destination channel , a number is enough , for multiple channels
use an array
[1,3,5] array will send midi to channels 1, 3, 5
