For the technical, this is three synths for strings (in Reason 11):
1. First string is one of the presets I made for Robotic Bean's Resonans called "Quartet".
2. The low Harmony is Europa + Quartet BBD Chorus
3. The string that doubles the first line is my Space Case Space String + Kron thro Quartet Grain + Sweeper MS-20 Filter
4. Chimes are Thor
5. The big Drum is Skrock's Thermal + EchoBode
6. Drum Machine is built from my RD-19 VSTs
Again, the only compression is on an SSL Master Bus Comp in the Masters.
Space Music is not meant to be played too loud or it may be rather overwhelming.

Interesting track. Kind of bordering on minimalist. The strings don't sound real but they don't sound fake either. They're kind of somewhere in between. Kind of an eerie vibe on this one. Well done.

Thanks Wags.
I really don't aim for "real". I aim for organic - sounds like an instrument in itself - just like a lute isn't a guitar.
Minimalism is inherent in a lot of what I do as I try not to do more than needed to get my point across. Especially on records like this as opposed to say Missions which is meant to be bold & busy.
