Your beat is on point, but I think you're not getting any comments because there's just not a lot to talk about. It's a pretty minimal drumbeat with melodic percussion. Which is not a bad thing at all. It could definitely do a good job of servicing a vocal track. To stand on it's own though I think you need to develop it a bit more. You have a good foundation, but you need some kind of movement, or tension and release, or a bassline that pops in at some point, or anything along those lines. A vocal keeps people's ears moving (so to speak). Without a vocal, you have to use other techniques to achieve the same result. I hope that helps.

I agree with Local Man. What you have is a great foundation but it needs something more to keep the listeners attention.

thanks guys, I actually put kelis - milskhake vocals on this and it works like a charm! just not sure what her policy is on remixes that are unofficial.
