Oh you're being too nice vurt! Thanks!
I'm a professional and you can't deny it. If you do, you either were tricked by the League, or you are from the League.

Thanks. Makes sense. Well, might as well just dive in, put up a work in progress track and see what people think and then start making adjustments. Maybe via this process I can actually get it "right" and learn something at the same time.

I mean what have I got to lose?
absolutely nothing.
remember, no one dies when we as artists mess up. messing up is ok, we learn from it.
if we are willing to listen to others.

i think you might be surprised at offers, but then im an overly positive cock womble :hihi:

you may wonder, why i care?
aside from wanting to see you happy, with the productions.
all the information that could come from this excercise, is then there for all of us, and maybe for future users.

there are people here id love to see take on the mixes, people i think many of us would learn different things from. because we will all have our own little tricks.

ps: unaspected not unexpected ;)
I agree. I'm willing to give it a shot. Sorry to see TCC feels I'm being negative but I can't worry about that. It's certainly his choice as to whether or not he wants to help. I'm hopeful that I'll still get enough assistance (already got a ton) to make this worth while.

Anyway, I'm busy today doing other things and tomorrow I have choir and other stuff. Will probably get started on the weekend.

We'll see what happens.

Wags ... I don't "think" you're being negative. Read the previous couple of pages and you'll see you ARE being negative. Just like you are about almost every suggestion anyone makes. Its completely demotivational.

this may seem harsh, but it is true.
you get a lot of help and attention, rarely do you seem positively motivated by it.
it's not a great way to motivate others to help you.

try to be a little excited by it, rather than just "nothing to lose" :)

I agree too - what IMO is your biggest problem is that you aren’t capable of realizing you have a problem. You do come over as a very negative person in general, and sometimes take offense at constructive criticism as if it’s given as personal insults towards you.

If you could only take a step back from where you’ve dug your heels in and not reject all criticism that doesn’t agree with your view of things, you would see a very different picture from the one you paint of people’s interactions with you.

Here's a some professionally recorded stems, NiN. You could even use smart EQ to copy the curves of certain instruments for reference.

Let me see if I got this straight.

1. I watched the video on EQ and couldn't hear the frequencies that he identified as bad. So I said that if that's the case, there isn't much I can do if I can't hear the problem. I suppose that makes me negative pointing out an actual physical limitation of my ears that I can't do anything about.

2. I then said that I seriously doubt I'm going to find anybody to mix my music and gave some pretty decent reasons (having pissed most people here off at one time or another). I suppose that makes me negative too.

Other than that, I said I would do whatever I had to do to make this work, even be willing to work with someone if they'd be willing.

I suppose that makes me negative too.

Well I'm sorry if my personality doesn't please some people. This is who I am. I'm not going to sit here going "Oh sure, no problem. This is a piece of cake. It's in the bag" when I can't even hear "problems" that are being pointed out in a tutorial. And I'd certainly be insane to think that anybody with any significant skills would want to help somebody who has essentially alienated almost everybody here. That's just being a realist. I mean it's not like I'm the poster boy for favorite forum member.

I call it as I see it. I'm not going to sit here going to myself "Oh great, I'm gonna get all these people remixing my songs" and then end up disappointed and frustrated when nobody helps me. That Crimson offered was an absolute shock to me.

Anyway, I'm going to do what I'm going to do (really work hard at this) and whoever helps me helps me. I can't worry about the people here who think I'm negative and don't like me. I'm done with that. No more complaining to mods or crying about it. Do what you want. Feel what you like.

I'm just gonna do my thing.

I had to look this up. Still not sure what it means but that's okay.

In a day or so I get to work. Looking forward to this.

I went to the page but I'm having trouble understanding what I'm looking at. I see Ableton and Pro Tools and other stuff but nothing for Cubase. And there's so much stuff on the page I'm kind of lost. In short, I don't know what to download.

Selecting the full length option will give you all the stems, tempo and key details, hope this helps.
