Evolution Strawberry: constant vibrato/tremolo with reaper

I'm getting a constant vibrato type of sound, or maybe a constant tremolo, from evolution strawberry. This is for all presets, including the "init preset", which has everything turned off on the tone tab.

I've tried multiple midi controllers, and the issue is there for all of them, so I think it is at the software level.

I don't get it when I run kontakt player stand alone, but when I add kontakt player as a vst in my daw, reaper, I'm getting it.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Is the mod wheel (CC #1) above 0? That would cause the vibrato to play. If you email me an example of what it sounds like, that could give me a better idea of what's going on, though. I'm not sure why it would only affect your DAW and not happen in the standalone Kontakt application.
