Hi,
I tried Stratosphere and Archtop with MIDI Guitarmode with partly strange results.
I set Bend Range-up and -down to 12, also legato ranges to +- 12.
I included a midi Filter, so only
Pitch Bends and note on, off for each string (ch1-6) are
sent to the Kontakt multi. which is in omni mode.
Hammer ons sometimes have false notes. allthough
I see the right intervals on the triple play guitar Fretboard,
and in the Kontakt MIDI Monitor plugin, placed after the MIDI Filter plugin.
The Sound has wrong notes, also false notes on the Kontakt's instrument fretboard.
Is this mode already working correctly? Anything, I could have misunderstood, done wrong? Sorry for my english,...
Tips, or help, please... anybody here with MIDI guitar experience with Orange Tree Libs?
Thank you,
Peter

Do you have your MIDI guitar set up to use pitch bend messages for recreating hammer-ons / pull-offs, or does it play those as unique MIDI notes?

Hi Greg, Thank you for your help!
Hammerons are sometimes sent as pitch bend, sometimes as a new NoteOn
i think that is not working, pitch bends are not reset correctly in
Kontakt, leading to wrong notes in following chords, after note offs of the bent or hammered on Note, also bending and vibrating a note does not work with my settings in Jazz Archtop.
Maybe I set something wrong in Kontakt, or do I have to add a modulator for pitch? I don't know how to do this exactly in Kontakt.

Has anyone tried using the MIDI Guitar Mode with Linnstrument?
Linnstrument can be set up to send channel per row, which in theory should be able to correspond to one string per row.
I haven't seen any videos demonstrating this though.

Hi Greg,
I have watched all the tutorials, I found about Stratosphere.
MIDI Guitar setting you say the strings are chosen by MIDI Channel,
o.k. working fine with my Midi guitar,
but what about pitch bends
I could only bend the first string (high e, pitch bend ch1),
but the pitch bend for the other 5 strings is not possible, although it was sent.
1. is this not possible in the current version? ,
or
2. what can I do to archieve this.
Thanks in advance for help!
Regards, Peter

Hi Greg,
I found a post from Dezember 2015
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=453681 ,
where you said
You will update the engine for full compatibility with Fishman Triple Play MIDI guitar,
enabling:
1. string bending for every string( =pitch bend for MIDI ch 1-6),
2. hammer ons for every string(=pitch bends ch1-6),
3. pulloffs for every string(=pitchbend for ch1-6))
Are you still working on this update or does it work and I just did not set Kontakt right?
Please help!
Peter
