Detectors in MultiBand plugins?

Can someone confirm what audio signal is used by Detectors in the Multiband plug-ins?
For example, in MTurboCompMB, where do the detectors get the signal from:
-- the main audio input to the plug-in (that is, before the Band Crossover Editor)?
-- the band's audio after the Band Crossover Editor?
-- somewhere-else?
And when SIdechain is enabled:
-- from the sidechain audio input to the plug-in?
-- somewhere-else?
For example, will the following use the audio input between 20 and 250 Hz to trigger compression of band 2's audio (which is in the range 300 to 2000 Hz)?

Each band is in a way a separate plugin and its inputs (both main and sidechain) are filtered, so in your example 2nd band instance is receiving 300 - 2k in both inputs.

OK, thank you. So the main input and the sidechain input to each band are AFTER the Band Crossover Editor.
And, my example: "will the following use the audio input between 20 and 250 Hz to trigger compression of band 2's audio (which is in the range 300 to 2000 Hz)" is not possible.

Correct. You can do that in MXXX though.
