at the moment I am building a very great pad in MSF, which can sound quite creepy. I got some ideas from an old Reaktor ensemble called "Icepad". Now there are two flanger modules, which sound like a resonator and I really tried my best to recreate such sound in MFlanger, but I coul not do it. Then I tried to nearly copy the reaktor module-setup into a MXXX matrix, but it was not possible as well.
Now I tried the old Fruity Flanger and could recreate the sound really quick. Am I too stupid to use MFlanger or does MFlanger really not sound like any other traditional flanger? ... to me it sounds like MFlanger really does weird stuff with the stereo or so ... Edit: OH! And I mainly miss some kind of proper "depth" control. In Fruity Flanger it is set by ms ... in MFlanger it just seems a mixer between dry and wet. I might not understand a thing here maybe?
