How do you select loops from the Loopbox?

I cannot find any reference on how to select a specific loop from within the loopbox. The manual seems to imply that a midi instruction is possible but doesn't say how to do it.

Just use a midi note to choose the correct pattern and then use midi velocity to choose the loop box. On top of the loop box each loop will say something like “velocity 26”, just set the midi note velocity to 26 in the piano roll. If you want to randomly choose a loopbox set the velocity to 0. Hope that helps.

A keyboard key (in MD or in your DAW when using MIDI command method) selects a loop-box. Each loop-box can contain a number of loops. Think of the key as a box. The loop index list to the right of the keyboard contains all the loops inside the selected loop-box.

Exactly! You need to disable Random loops in settings though. That should be all described in the beginning of the manual.Chandlerhimself wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 4:40 am Just use a midi note to choose the correct pattern and then use midi velocity to choose the loop box. Yeah, it's a bit "weird", but it is in the first pages of the docs, or at least should be

MDrummer - a gem that hasn't been fully unearthed yet.
More prosaic: The dark matter of drum machines - driven by dark energy - that no scientist has been able to explain to date.
