There is a part in the video where I type in the values from gain into dynamics. Vojtech watched this video and liked the idea, so he added a new button, that swaps all the values from gain and dynamics automatically, good time saver.

Just curious, can you side-chain the plugin instance (i.e. 1 side-chain) to the kick instead of each individual band?

No, it has to be done for each band.
