My question was, exactly how do you do this. If Vojtech does not know (or thinks it is impossible), perhaps aMUSEd could please weigh in?
Well as I said I have the Creative bundle anyway plus quite a few others, all I'm really missing are some of the more expensive mastering, stereo and spectral processors so if I come across a device that uses one of those I find something close enough to replace it or just delete it and manage without it. eg some presets use stereo processor to create a stereo pan or spatial effect, I don't have that but do have several other stereo generators that can do a similar job in most cases. I'm not that fussy about it being a perfect match. Melda makes so many Stereo processors and they all do pretty similar things as far as I can see so there's a lot of overlap, even if some have additional functions that are more specialised they are not always used. And if say Turbo Comp is used I just substitute a regular comp, it won't sound exactly the same but compression isn't a big deal for me anyway, it doesn't really make a big enough difference for me to be bothered about it.

Excellent - thanks! I have the creative bundle, too, and it does seem like the component that is missing in most of the presets I have seen thus far is some sort of stereo processing, a multiband EQ or a multiband compressor.
